Hello on sunday I transferred 3.2 ETH from cex.io to cointrips.
Only a small part of it (~300$) has arived yesterday. I suppose this is the good news because it should mean the rest is just in delay right..
Then I immediately transferred that small part to coinbene and that hasnt arrived either.

Wtf...

Is there a way to check where in the system these ETH are ?

Check via Etherscan.io Enter the address of TxHash. If you sent everything in one transaction, then all the coins must come at once.

Alternatively you can use Ethplorer I prefer using this engine because it has a easy interface in my opinion as well as default night mode and the background is black. https://ethplorer.io/

Etherscan.io or ethplorer.io
in my understanding, it seems like your transaction in the low priority if you are sending it to some parts. As far as i knot that about the fact that if some exchange sites are still considered to send their ethereum transaction with little gwei that makes the transaction will take a lot of time to be develiered to receiver address.

try to check your transaction number whether pending or failed, because all this time I never experienced anything like that happen like you, maybe when your transaction change its gas become smaller, because if true maybe limit your gas not enough to do the transaction .

most times there is always a delay in the transaction.
you can use https://etherscan.io/ to check for the transaction.
Also you can write to the support. I prefer you contact via their social media.
they tend to response more quicker there.

Guys I would appreciate some help here.
How can I find more information about the owner of a certain address or on what exchange site/ wallet it is ?

The 31st of december I sent 3.18 ETH from cex.io to a cointrips eth address. Only part of it arrived (~300 USD) and that same part I send to coinbene which still didnt arrive either.

I just checked again and it really looks like the deposit address on cointrips has changed. It's impossible that I made a mistake.

I did find an article on coinbase (https://support.coinbase.com/customer/portal/articles/2276500) that says they change the address for security reasons so maybe the same happened on cointrips..

This is the confirmation link from cex.io with the address to which I sent 3.18 ETH
https://imgur.com/Ehxs0vm

This is a scan from that address:
https://imgur.com/fuu9yt9   Whose address is this ?!

This is the ETH deposit address from cointrips. I'm 100% sure it was the address above and it changed to this:
https://imgur.com/Y3M4Dop

It does show on cointrips that I withdrew some ETH which corresponds to the small part I did receive and sent to coinbene I remember it was something in the 300 usd..

This is a scan from the address it says 1.9 came in and out of that address..

What is all this ?? Please any help..

May be it depends upon the gas you will send while transferring and some time people don't how is the has required for the transaction. So better check and send the transaction with higher gas limit in order to confirm your transaction.

I don't know what this is. I just followed the steps to withdraw ETH from cex.io and I put the address I had to send it to.. What's this about the gas ?

how many GAS are you using to send ETH?
usually the speed of a transaction is determined by its GAS

check it here to know more about how many GAS you need to your tx https://ethgasstation.info/

As above posters said, check your transaction first, maybe it is because the crowd of the network of eth, it often happens especially when the transaction amount is huge.

I found the transaction history on cex.io it does confirm that it was sent to the address but I do not have access at that address somehow it changed on cointrips how else did that small part arrive on cointrips..
I don't understand. I'm 100% positive I send it to the right address but now when I access my cointrips account it gives me another ETH deposit address.

How can I find out what exchange site/ wallet an ETH address belongs to ?

Once I had been waiting for a week before I saw my ETH coins on my account. At that time I remember I had being wrote the letters everywhere, in tech support of Etherdelta, in different branches of forums.
