Basically, its the bitcoin imtations. Bitcoincash, btcgold and all the others should not have a value at all but they are ridiculously overvalued. And also those like Ethereumgold and other alt variations should be avoided.

if I were you I would trust myself to choose which altcoin I would buy. nowadays there are lots of cheap altcoins, the market increase is starting to look. you can buy some cheap altcoin or altcoin top. try to analyze it and find a lot of knowledge about the altcoin information you are researching.

I would consider both the coins as undervalued after the recent fall and it has fallen more than 50% than they where before couple of weeks . So one should ideally be buying such coins more during this recent dips and you can easily multiply your investment easily in coming months only.

I believe that every coin has a chance to be our investment but not for a long time and this is not for all coins because if I analyze, some of the coins get down of its price and it is really hard to get increase back. and the other coins gets delisted from the exchanges because there is a low volume in the daily trade so if we can choose for top twenty on coinmarketcap then I think we could use the coin as our long-time investment.

I don't point out the overvalued Altcoins because those Top Altcoins deserve to be in their place.
Many would say Ripple is one of the Overvalued Altcoins but for me Ripple deserves to pump because I really not after to the project or the utility of a coin but the potential to pump like Ripple. Although everything is dropping but we all know that it will soon be over and everyone's will be rewarded by their patiently holding their coins.
Ripple isn't overvalued, people just love to invest into coins that they love.

I believe a good bet for 2018 is SCHT. It'll be launched by a product company and their project has a good chance to rocket.
So the coins seem worth buying, because after going public, they will definitely bring profit.

Sorry but I think all altcoins are overvalued. Most of them don't have real use and i suspect some of POS coins are classic ponzi. We should have maximum 5 altcoins + bitcoin and that's it.
Also smart contracts are not altcoins.

I guess around the time you opened this discussion there were many overvalued altcoins. However, now the prices probably 40 - 60 percent lower and there's a possibility to see them even lower than this. My advice to research/buy coins around ICO price, quite advance with their roadmap, etc.

There are alot of bag holders now and I would definitely not touch the coins that went up like crazy in December those coins are still up a lot even those things are down.
