The Bitcoin Embassy welcomes you to it’s first official meet-up planned for Saturday August 17th, 2013 at 2:30pm at the Bitcoin Embassy offices located at: 3485 St-Laurent Boul. Montreal.

 Come visit us to learn more about our vision and what we have planned next to get there.   We would like to hear your thoughts on the different aspects of this project and determine ways to work together to further build and grow the Bitcoin Embassy and its mandate.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.
