XRP is a centralized coin why would we choose it as the official coin of 2020 tokyo olympics?any reason why?

Ripple is a really good example of how to use blockchain in banking. It's not what cryptocurrency was meant to be in decentralization was (by the people for the people) but it's an excellent use of the technology and has a bright future in the banking system.

Ripple price increased dramatically in 2017 and continues so in 2018. Myself I prefer other cryptocurrencies (BTC, ETH, ADA) over Ripple but it's still a smart investment.

But there is no doubt that XRP has indeed solved the problem of trust between Banks and Banks, and many of the world's Banks have started to use XRP.

XRP and Japan? No wonder the recent price rises are so high that I might consider investing in XRP, which has the potential to work with the government. Grin

Ripple is one of those coins that is slowly rising these days and I hope I can invest on it soon. I think Japan had seen something potential with Ripple since it is backed by some popular banks all over the world. I know that people with problems in terms of centralized cryptos still has plans to invest in Ripple even though they think of it as a manipulation of asset, they will still pour some investment into it because I know the reality of being left by trend or missed the opportunity just like what had happen in Bitcoin on it's early age where people ignore it and look at it now. Good job for Japan to support Ripple since it gives positive feedback and result to it's community.

Ripple is a really good project, it can solve problems that other altcoins or even bitcoin can not solve. It can be replace the first rank of Bitcoin if the price reach to $5. This event and listed on coinbase will make it gain that. Grin

it is a petition if anyone was wondering, since OP is very misleading. and so far nobody has signed it. and it won't matter at all because nobody cares about it. maybe some bagholders try to do it but not anyone else.

i wonder what would happen if you could vote against it? haha how much negative would it get?

What is the sense for Japan to make XRP the coin of olimpics? They have huge projects with NEM and COMSA projects. Moreover I think they are smart enough not to promote any crypto through the olimpic games.

Most of Japan has legalized crypto currency for a long time. Why would they need this Ripple? They have a lot of their projects, why do they need this garbage? I do not think that the Olympic games will be connected with crypto-currencies. I do not see the point in mixing sports and money.

Everywhere I see topics about ripple. Let's pump this coin to the $10 and have a break. I have lots of ripple but I sold for nothing could not even imagine it will be $1

I am a XRP investor. I’d love to see this, but I’d say it’s highly unlikely. There are a lot of new investors coming in. It would be better for them to see actual facts and road maps.
