This feels a lot like the pull back that took place last fall when China banned crypto back in September of last year. Trade volumes are really low - fraction of the volume we saw just a few weeks ago. Trading will come back and prices will recover.
I'm sorry, how many times has China banned cryptocurrencies lately? Because at this point it sounds ridiculous  |

I'm sorry, how many times has China banned cryptocurrencies lately? Because at this point it sounds ridiculous I believe this is number 8 lol. Personally i'm not sure anymore if its just the time of the year or all the FUD. Saw the news yesterday and they said NASDAQ had the biggest drop in 6 years. That can't be just a coincident. |

It's amazing to see that even with all this negative market situation, the DeepOnion team does not stop and go forward with full force! Every day that passes has something new, a new goal, something that motivates us.
Most have understood the situation and generally we do not see despondent and desperate people here. It is proud to be a part of it all!
About the market being in low ... Hakuna Matata! Let's move on!

I'm expecting it to recover somewhere mid this year, it would be too hard to predict full recovery within just one month. For that we would need whole crypto market cap to get back at $700b and btc dominance not more than 35%. As btc will surely recover first, his dominance might bounce back to 40% or even more, so by that less money would flow into alts... |

I know it's not impossible for the coin to bounce back, but it might not recover at all as well. I see very little realization of that fact in this thread while it is a very possible scenario.
Jeez stop the FUD mate, it can take some time for bitcoin and alts to recover, the bitcoin skyrocketed too fast + all the FUD around China, India, and Korea caused this. Crypto market is not a place for weak hands. |

I kinda quit, too painful, instead I just concentrate on emerging markets and acquire new coins. Smiley
Onion price has been holding fairly well.. considering.
I only check my portfolio twice a day now. The market is a bit depressing. I'm hoping it would go up soon. DeepOnion is still holding well on so that's a good news. Do you think that if the DO price is 7(seven) times less than ATH one month ago this means that DO is " still holding well"? I think is worst than most altcoins. You clearly aren’t tracking a lot of alts... most are down 80-85% overall they’re all down quit being negative and trying to single DeepOnion out it’s getting old. i agree and add that the ath of december was really high and in my opinion unexpected, i think that now we are more in line with initial price porjections, people must remember that deeponion is only a little more then 6 months old! look at "similar" (similiar because try to adress anonimity issues) projects like monero & co.: it tooks more then 2 years for them to achive very high prices ;-) |

That's the difference between DeepOnion and a lot of other coins, the price now is not a major concern because we are only at the start of the project. Once the airdrops finish that's when the real growth will come, the amount of exchanges we can be on will increase and vote central will come into fruition. With the strength of the community growing day by day this will place DeepOnion in a very strong position. |

Totally agree with this. And... we're in this for years so a drop from $15-ish down to $3 is no problem. It's a great opportunity for those wanting into the project to purchase up their 50 coins. Imagine watching someone a few years ago stressing that bitcoin went from $15 down to $3 knowing it'd eventually hit $20k. |
