A red "Out of Sync" error indicates wallet connection issues.



Troubleshooting:

• Verify that you are using the latest version of the DeepOnion wallet.
• Make sure your operating system time and date are accurate then restart the wallet.
• Edit "DeepOnion.conf" to add the latest nodes.
• Check that your connection to the Tor® network is not blocked by your ISP or a firewall.

There are detailed guides available at the DeepOnion Knowledge Base.

To update the DeepOnion wallet with the latest fresh nodes:

• Run the DeepOnion wallet at least once then close it.
• Copy one of the following black text lines depending on your operating system.
  
• • for Windows        %appdata%\DeepOnion\DeepOnion.conf
• • for Mac               /Users/$USER/Library/Application Support/DeepOnion/DeepOnion.conf
• • for Linux             ~/.DeepOnion/DeepOnion.conf
• Visit the nodes page.
• Right-click the “DeepOnion.conf” button then select “save link as…”, a save dialog will appear

• Right-click in the File Name field then paste the copied text.

• Click save, replace the existing file if asked, then start the DeepOnion wallet.

If you are still having issues, check the DeepOnion Knowledge Base or ask for help at the DeepOnion community.
If your wallet is being blocked by a firewall or if your ISP is blocking Tor, the wallet will not be able to establish connection.
Use the alternative nodes for blocked countries at the end of the nodes page.
