The number of coins is reduced because there are more and more participants in the airdrop.

No, not necessarily! Since the distribution is proportional it could happen that (e.g.): You hold 200 coins, one big fish holds 1000 and sells 500 of them. Those 500 coins are bought by 5 other people who also join the airdrop. The total amount of ONION taking part in the airdrop is still 1200 in total. So the big fish receives less, but you should receive the same! So it depends not only on the number of accounts joining, but also on the number of ONIONs being hold in the different wallets participating (and of course minor factors like the support factor)!

You should check your status again since I see that you posted this several hours before the NO MOVE period ended. I was in the similar situation a few weeks ago and only after 5:30EST on Friday my status changed back to Accepted.
