I was reading at the DeepOnion forum that some of the reasons that big exchanges are not listing DeepOnion yet is because of the number of ONIONs distributed in a way is low these days! but in that case, once the 40th airdrop is finished, then there will be around 19 million ONIONs in circulation am I right? then big exchanges will easily add DeepOnion, we are talking about 2 and half more months.

after the airdrop, DeepOnion might suffer a dip in price due to dumps but it would bounce back and then we would see the real potential of the coin. Till then, we hodl.

That is definitely a factor but I think its blown out of proportion.  There are tons of coins that have like half their coins in dev funds which are added onto the bigger exchanges.

well we have quite enough coin distributed already, I doubt that is the reason not to list DeepOnion
al lot of coins are in the wallet - that is the reason I think - so not much coins in circulation

You joined Bitcointalk on February 2nd, so long as you keep posting you will become a Jr. Member in 14 days and around 16 hours. So you will miss this week's and next week's airdrop. But who knows, very low chance, but maybe they'll change the rules and let newbies get in, since I don't think newbies can abuse the system like they could when the air drop started, since it's based on the percentage of Onions hold.

That is definitely a factor but I think its blown out of proportion.  There are tons of coins that have like half their coins in dev funds which are added onto the bigger exchanges.

Good point - lots of users hold their coins for airdrop with roughly 4% return per week. It is pretty good ROI. After the airdrop complete, more coins will be in circulation and exchange, which may cause a temporary dip.

I believe circulation only means the coins are circulating in the public. It does not necessarily mean those coins cannot be in wallet... Many big exchanges cannot list DeepOnion because onion is still in the airdrop phase. If in airdrop phase, then there is possibility of dev dumping coins and running away. Big exchanges don't want to take risks. Onion will surely get listed on a lot of exchanges after the airdrop is completed. That's why we always say, it's just the beginning after the airdrop is done.

we are near airdrop completion so this should not be an issue at this time

in the next weeks probably a lot of new smaller or newer exchanges are going to be added, depending on ongoing poll results.. but maybe all are waiting for a big one, right?
strategically speaking i think that it will be better to wait a couple months after airdrop end

I think the main reason DeepOnion could not be listed on bigger exchanges like Bittrex is developers still having significant percentage of coins.  Once the airdrops will be over, much of these coins would already have been distributed with airdrops to the community and so DeepOnion will have a much much higher chance to get listed on bigger exchanges.
