Great news today about the stealth addresses being implemented on block 400,000! Exciting stuff  But this needs to be discussed and voted in the VoteCentral place very soon, and it seems that the developers will take their time to make this happen after intense tests, and find the best option. I was thinking that a hard fork is different than a bifurcation, if the hard fork is implemented I guess the main chain will continue and keep the has power already achieved?? |

After we announced (some read it before deleted) we noticed 400k block too early for a change we will test and work on it little bit more if we can handle without hardfork and when we know details will announce Because forking an important decision we will handle it a bit long time and maybe we can put it votecentral for people to vote we will see Stay tuned ^ keep up

How sweet was yesterday's airdrop?  Remember, you can still make it to DeepOnion's airdrops. You just need to be a Junior Member in bitcointalk at least, a task which is achievable in 4 weeks max., and have 50 Onions minimum in your wallet (don't use an exchange as your address, you won't be able to participate). If you have that, you can check here https://deeponion.org/airdrop.html to see the rest of the requirements (small stuff like making 3 posts per week on the official DeepOnion forum, account info, etc). It's really easy, guys. So many people have already participated successfully and gotten their Onions  It's easy ? Since Sunday of last week I do not stop posting items that are interesting and I try to be as far as possible but since Sunday my activity number is blocked at 28 so I can not even be menbre Jr. I do not know what to do     Your activity can only increase by 14 every two weeks. That wallet is lookin super sexy and super upgraded. I cannot wait for the mobile wallet to come out. This coming week should be great for DO.
With you on that, the new wallet does look good. Love that the devs here never rest on what we have and that they are constantly striving to improve everything. New wallet version actually looks pretty much similar to version 1.5.5 and this new version 1.5.6 is mainly for testing purposes. It seems developers are currently working on stealth address integration into the DeepOnion. I like the colors more friendly to the eyes, causing less eyestrain |

Do we have to still keep DeepOnion address in the bitcoin profile? move it after the airdrop or can it be moved now? About 8 more airdrops until the 40th!! Ah! That makes sense. I was wondering what had happened to the thread. Yes, something like that takes time and I think we all want to make sure it's perfect before it goes live. No need to rush something like that to get it out just for the sake of having it. DeepOnion isn't here just to compete, we are here to Dominate! Well, it's all good then, I was also thinking less than one week might be too quick for a hard fork. |

Makes sense to delay the hard-fork, it happening in 5-6 days might be a bit soon Look forward to hearing the new announcement about it though! The implementation of stealth addresses should put anyone's fork fears at ease. It will be the start of a new era for deeponion. |

Hard-forks can be inconvenient but they are a necessity at times. The more notice and preparation for a hard-fork the better because some people will inevitably miss the memo and stake to the wrong chain for an extended period of time with little notice.

Can somebody tell me why we are doing a hard fork in the first place, I understand we want Stealth Addresses but is the only way then? I also sometimes get hard fork confused with splitting into two chains which I hope this is not.. |
