It was another good week of staking Onions.  Not my best week but I'm not complaining.  

We are going to 5% soon if my memory serves me correct.  Any insight into when that will be?

Absolutely, first year will be 10% and it will be reduced to 5% the following year.

And then 1% beginning in the third year and going on in perpetuity?

I wonder if there are other ways to stake onions better? Aside from increasing your onion holdings.

Like  a staking pool?  This would help make staking returns more consistent.

If you are having unconfirmed stakes then you can add nodes, but there is no other way to increase your staking without adding Onions. 

You are going to average 10 percent for the first year no matter what. Unconfirmed stakes are so disappointing but it happens. Just have to appreciate what you gain and move on

Are you sure? I remember me, myself being against people trying to get Mcafee, and being in the minority, with most people hoping for a mention. It's best to judge based on individuals since there are literally 3 comments about the tweet and the DeepOnion community is a lot larger than that. You would have to check the comments of those who are for it, and check to see if they were against it in the past.

Yep. I remember it like it was yesterday "oh no please not mcafee, he is a shiller.... He will cause a pump and dump to the coin ..." And so on. The people who were against him are now for him. Really interesting to see how peoples opinion turn like a flag in the wind...

Maybe we're remembering it different, I remember some people being excited of the possibility and others not. Either way, you literally have like 3 or 4 people from the community responding to his tweet.

You have to think in terms of individuals. It's like when one person does something and then their entire race gets the blame.
