It seems that Mcaffee has his own view of anonymous coins. And the support that will be provided to the project is likely to be ideological. But do not put great hopes on him. His authority will of course still exert his influence, but not as much as it was before.

Even though a person might get paid to promote certain coins, they're allowed to have personal opinions about which coins are better than others. I'm not saying that McAfee's opinions are necessary worth a lot but people should realize the difference between a shill and an opinion.

Without an official announcement, we can't say for sure. According to the roadmap 2018 Q3 so not before 30th of June. We had new developers joining so there is a chance it'll be ready earlier... we have new surprises every week.

Q3 ends on September 30th so if it is out until then we are still in sync with the roadmap, but I hope it will be out much earlier.
