I think that's because DeepOnion blockchain was splitted (forked) at block 1377307.

Not true, if you are solely investing all of your fund, it will be a better decision ever. Investing in alt is huge risky. I doubt all these altcoin will exist, most of them will lose value in the long run, in fact, after 1 or 2 years. But, Bitcoin will be there. So, 100% BTC is a good portfolio.

It is normally good to diversify but when you believe in a project and the other is extremely volatile and whose fees (just like the rent) is "too damn high"** ya just gotta go with DeepOnion
