Alright everyone ones so confident. What's the game plane then? Post halving and with the next alt season sooner than later what revolutionary feature is going to come out that's going to miraculously resuscitate this project out of the abyss that it's in.

Crex24 is a regulated exchange and they are very reputable and highly trusted, currently ranked 17 which is even higher than KuCoin . Come on, dude. You must have checked Crex24 profile in bitcointalk before you made such a comment- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=1113444They are one of the shady exchanges helping scam projects. And the rank? Higher than Kucoin? I believe you have no idea how the crypto space works. Don't forget to check this thread too- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5126620.0I wonder how come you compare Crex24 with Kucoin. At least, minimum standard is needed to compare one with another which Crex24 don't have.

Very sad to see DeepOnion out of top 1000 on CMC (at the time of writing). Thought that the last price drop was just a panic sell because of Kucoin delisting, but there was no recovery and price goes further down. Why investors lost their interest? Just because losing a decent exchange? I don't think so, the price is steadily decreasing in long term. I still believe DeepOnion is a good coin and project, but obviously needs more innovations and stronger marketing.
I see there is no updated roadmap for 2020 in the OP and not all points from 2019 were delivered. It does not make a good impression on potential investors. In the past, there was a detailed roadmap and deliveries were on time.
As a first step to recovery, DeepOnion should come with a strong vision and detailed roadmap for 2020/2021. It is primarily a privacy coin, so what additional privacy feature or enhancement can be developed? Any DeepSend improvements or some other feature? What about the smart contracts mentioned in the old roadmap for 2019? Is there any progress or development at all? Maybe DeepOnion can become one of the first (if not the first at all) Tor-based privacy coins with smart contracts.
DeepOnion needs something bigger than only DeepVault improvements and various translations in order to succeed. Where is the domination spirit? I know, the conditions are not easy and competition in crypto is strong, but come on, I'm sure DeepOnion can do better.
In medium term, some decent and reputable exchange will be useful as well (no, this is really not Crex24, at least not now). But it does not seem to be a priority number one as DeepOnion has low volumes on current exchanges anyway and had even before on Kucoin. However, it is important to manage it still before the next altcoins bullrun which might come in 2021.
Last, but not least, if things continue this way, potential rebranding should be considered as well. Maybe together with rollout of smart contracts or before listing on some better exchange, but this is subject to discussion. And DeepOnion needs serious discussion with clear conclusions. It's not too late, but there is not so much time left before the next bullrun which will clearly show if DeepOnion has any future. I still believe it can get to top 100 on CMC in long term if things are done in a right way.
And no, I don't think DeepOnion should be just waiting the new alt season.

You are right. But I think the main reason DO wants to be recognized by the community is the strategy of the development team. A sustainable project requires several good exchanges. You also need to get community support to meet the needs of the community!

The other exchange options are good enough until there is a chance for a new one.

Thank you very much for spending your time and writing some good things about the project and its future. I agree that we need further improvement rather than saying real use case of DeepVault. No doubt it is a great feature and it can create huge demand if ONION too but as long as you are not reaching to the potential users of a system, your system worths nothing. What are the team doing as marketing purpose? Nothing at all. On a side note, I really hate the way Deeper discredit the criticism of users while criticism should be encouraged to reach the goal.

Just please stop with the translations. These additions are not going to create enough incentive to revive this thing. I'm going to tell you the only clear way to raise this coin back to life. Without a revolutionary unheard of technical implementation this coin has no chance of being adopted over it's senior competitors. The developing team has to give up 90% of all their holdings in another massive multiweek/month airdrop like before. Why1.) There's no reason for the dev team to have all those coins at this point. They'll never be able to sell them with out liquidity or a proper exchange. 2.) Such a large un-circulated supply is an off put to veteran investors. 3.) It'll create the attention needed and give the opportunity to showcase all the hard work and development that has gone into this project over the last 2 year bear market. Highlighting the dedication and perseverance of the developers, team, mods, and community. 4.) By allowing those that have missed out on the original airdrop it could free the project from some of the bad stigma and bitterness that has loomed, while growing the community to new levels. That's phase one What do you all think? I would put this up to voting but the proposal system is broken

Bad idea in my opinion. You´ll flood the market with millions of coins for free, creating a huge inflation + short term hype.
It´s better if people contacts shops, companies, journalists that would like to use or write about DeepSend or DeepVault. I´m trying to do that but 1 guy will not get the same results as 10 or 20 people doing the same task.

You also need to get community support to meet the needs of the community! Glad that at least someone read my long post and contributed to the discussion. I'm just not sure what is the strategy of the development team and if there is currently even anything what can be called a strategy. This strategy should be summarized in an updated roadmap which does not exist at present. There were mentioned not only smart contracts, but also features like Ledger and Trezor integration which might be interesting for hodlers. Maybe I missed something, but I did not see any updates on these topics. I'm not saying that nothing has been done, there is still some progress, but mainly features from the "nice to have" category, nothing really big. Even in the future plans, which would bring us back to the roadmap.

And thank you for reading it and responding. You are right about the DeepVault, marketing of this feature should be probably more targeted to its potential users. But anyway, it is definitely not a new feature, DeepOnion should introduce something new, at least in a foreseeable future to attract new investors. Regarding the reactions to criticism, I know what you mean, but I have a feeling that this started to get better. Well, at least the critical contributions are not deleted here anymore. Seems that someone finally realized that polite and constructive criticism can be beneficial. Next step would be if the team starts to be more involved in this open public discussion here. It's not only about discussions on DeepOnion website with limited audience, we need to attract new people here. And the approach of the team can significantly help to reach this.

However, I'm also not convinced that this would bring the desired effect. Remaining amount of funds in the Development fund is most probably not sufficient to attract enough new people considering the fact that current DeepOnion price is much lower than in the times of the initial airdrop. Might be just a wasting of precious funds which can be used in the future e.g. for listing on high quality exchange, marketing campaigns, further development, etc.
