I want to know why you care about onion, but don’t participate in the activities organized by the development team

Very first reason, I have invested a lot in DeepOnion. Not saying I have lost huge amount. Well the investment was a part of my gain from both DeepOnion airdrop and my investment at the beginning. I was able to sell around ATH with a significant profit however, I had invested again later.
I do a lot of promotional stuff for DeepOnion which I think a lot of people don't do. For example, whenever I get chance to talk about Deepvault, I don't miss the chance. You can check the thread related to blockchain notary, I'm sure you will find me almost all of the recent threads.
I tried to get DeepOnion as one f the payment system in couple of businesses but you know that's not possible and I was failed.
I don't participate in the activities organized by the DEV team because in my eyes, they will not bring any good for the project. If there are something I think will affect DeepOniom, I try my best to particpate in the event.

Community is not so active like back then. So, it's not a surprise at all that there's low number of participants. I know some of them will be activr there forever because they have invested most of their savings, but who cares?

Coz I withhold firm convictions that onion network can be our gateway to freedom from these nauseating privacy breakers that run global survelliance networks. I have put all financial resources I had in making sure wealthy can not get ahold of me, especially in virtual environment. I am here to stabilize the flawed system that we all know will die if a guy like me doesnt come along with fixes compulsory to keep its vitality intact. I have co-opted others though to assist me in doing what is necessary for my doings to bring about what needs to be done.

We need set team to conduct such activities and a clear roadmap/goal to acquire set of objectives. None of them right now exist in the system. Team should hire some marketing professional.

Finally some news about development and not just a useless contest nobody is interested in. But to be realistic, this phase 1 of DeepSend should still be considered rather as a test phase even after increase of limit. USD equivalent will be still very low with current ONION price and without automatic splitting of the amount and sending it to different nodes, it is just a toy for a few geeks, not a competitive feature.

Even though phase 2 should solve this, the announcement about it is very vague, especially regarding the timing. Same with mentioning some further development without any details. This is not a way how to attract new investors.

Nevertheless, I appreciate that the voice of the community has been listened and the winning option from the poll will be implemented.

Indeed, Devs should have professional communication with the community here. It would indicate that the project is not dead as many people think. It would also be a free advertisement to new potentional investors.

This is one possibility, some community members want DeepOnion to become a deep web currency. Well, it would bring some attention, but it can cause problems with listings on reputable exchanges in the future so it should be considered carefully.
