SegWit is coming in about 3 days. After 3 days you should be able to see new type of wallet address activated in your wallets.
Make sure before day date use newest 2.2 wallet and/or upcoming versions. Currently all exchanges/block explorers/ mining pools we reached confirmed about upgrade.

DeepOnion Current PoW block reward is 1 ONION for miners. Different from BitCoin blockchain DeepOnion block rewards halve happens not each 4 years but every years.
So next year will be 0.5 ONION After next year will be 0.25 ONION and 3rd year 0.125 ONION and so on basically at some point DeepOnion going to be fully PoS coin.

Why would you buy a coin that has dead community, dead volume and not a single decent exchange? Even if price would reach 50% of ath, you probably won't be able to sell your coins because there won't be enough demand, unless you are big playa who invested whole 100$. If you put thousands of dollars into this projet, R.I.P.

What happened to deep onion? Lol. I remember it thriving and whinning like a happy horse, and now all of a sudden its dead. Who could guess. Probably selling off what u got as fast as possible is the best decision to be made. I dont see a lot of opportunities on the table with this coin. Maybe its just dark sentiment that makes us preach gloomy shit but I more and more tend to think that this indeed is the end.

Only exchange that is decent and potentially open for DeepOnion is KuCoin, nothing else matters, rest are shit exchanges where nobody who is not naive will transfer bigger chunks of money. But given how devs were willing to go around the ''issue'' of involving themselves with registration process (because they want to remain anonymous) by using some random user from their forum as proxy, I say chances for relisting are low.

At this time you need to build from source for Linux. Please see the post below if you need instructions.
Remember to backup wallet.dat and privkeys before you start. Read all instructions and the script.
The script will download dependencies and do complete build.

Sorry but that makes me thinking...where is the right focus?

The translators and website developers are not involved in coding the wallet and/or making packages and vice-versa. Linux packages usually come later to avoid waste of time in case of any issues. Also, most Linux users prefer to build from the open source rather than run closed packages. If you are not experienced in building from source please see the link below for a script that does everything for you. Remember to backup wallet.dat and privkeys before starting. Also, read the instructions in post and in the script.
