Hello,

We`ve ordered a miner from BFL on 20th May and we paid for express delivery. To this date, the status of the order is still Processing, which means it is not yet assembled and this is a period of more than 2 months.

Can anybody share an opinion on the topic ? How long does it take on average to go to status Assembled/Shipped ?

https://forums.butterflylabs.com/blogs/

There are 1000s of orders ahead of your May 20 order and all of those orders were placed months before yours.

They are shipping 5GH miners from November 2012 now.
and June 2012 for all other lines.

Edit: This is the wrong place to ask this question. Move it to appropriate topic.

I thought "express delivery" was only for shipping the product overnight?  Not bumping up in the order queue.

Squiggly letters, written really fast, with a couple of dots for good measure.

You thought right. I'm hoping my 7GH/s miner will appear around Christmas (ordered 1st July 13).

If history is any indication, I would hazard to guess you might receive your May 2013 order no later than end of Q1 2014. With any luck by Christmas 2013.

Probably sooner, I say end of the year.  Now they are just assembling the products, providing support and sales. All the try/fail/try again engineering stuff is behind them.

You are correct.  From the Butterfly Labs website FAQ:
Quote
Q. If I choose Express Shipping, does that mean my order gets processed ahead of others in line?
A. It only speeds up the time it takes to deliver the machine(s) once it leaves our production facility.

I can only imagine the ass-tantrums that would occur if they let you jump ahead of someone that has been waiting 6+ months.

If you want the straight dope on where they are in the process of shipping things out, you should check Jodi's Blog here: https://forums.butterflylabs.com/blogs/bfl_jody/.

As of yesterday, 8/21/2013, these were shipping:
Jalapenos:January 10, 2012
Little Singles: Oct. 11, 2012 pay date
Singles: July 4, 2012 pay date
MiniRigs: MiniRigs for June 23 (2nd 500gh/s unit) and July 22 for 1st 500 gh/s

^^ ... where the date is when it was ordered.

This is all on the FAQ, and you should read it: http://www.butterflylabs.com/faq/

I think the Jan 2012 is a typo from BFL. Should be 2013.

Yeah, it looks like they fixed it.  Now it reads ...
Quote
    Jalapenos:January 10, 2013
Little Singles: Oct. 11, 2012 pay date
Singles: July 4, 2012 pay date
    MiniRigs: MiniRigs for June 23 (2nd 500gh/s unit) and July 22 for 1st 500 gh/s
