This response screams desperation more than anything and immaturity honestly. I doubt you have much real experience in the field.
Why? Because I decided to have a little fun with my comment ..
I'm more than willing to discuss my skills and experience to the correct person. My current FT job is handling the digital presence (PPC/SEM/SEO/Social Media/Reputation Management) of the company I work for. I'm just looking for some side income and always wanted to work with a different industry. I have knowledge of gambling/casinos so I decided to apply. My current roles are simple:
- Get Traffic
- Convert Traffic
- Try and Increase Both
Oh, and keep a solid rep. across the board
Obviously it's easier said than done, but the numbers have been pretty solid. The non-display ads run anywhere from a 2.5-25% CTR and 3-7% conversion rate based off of PPC campaigns. Organic, e-mail, and social media campaigns are obviously different. Willing to discuss the rates on them as well if needed.
Problem is that with most of the market being flooded with "Black Hat SEO" the perception of most people is that online marketers are just full of shit, but the fact is that there is a REAL way to do things. I think the beliefs of people that don't do this for a living are easily polarized with the bad because they've searched -- and searched -- and searched. And can't find anybody outside of the guy that's willing to post 5000 backlinks for $98. Believe is or not there is a world outside of spamming forums, sending backlinks, and investing in $100 adword vouchers. If you follow the right path you will get results in 3-4 months and you will continuously grow.
Please don't judge me by one silly comment that I decided to make.
