Hi everyone, new here. I have been needing some assistance on what I should spend my $1200 on for a first mining rig (alt coins) for the best outcome on that budget. Anyone have some recommendations? I have built a few gaming computers before but nothing like this with GPU separation and all. Thanks and I'm sorry if this isn't the precise forum area to post!

This is good to have the 3 rx 470 or Nvidia 1060 cards to mine with the complete set up. The fund you have mentioned is enough for the complete set up you have done with the altcoin mining GPU rig.
Go to local market and choose the right coin to mine and make the fixation for the rig and add the cards and boards together. You may have the windows or linux platform to start mining.

Could I email you or send you my newegg checkout list to see if it looks good to you? I'm right below $1200 with 2 470s and everything else.

If you can find some 1060s 3gb versions you could get your cost down as well depending on your OS.

If you could get some 570s for $230 or so, you could do 4 of those and have enough for the rest of the rig with one PSU and able to expand to 6 or 7 later.
