You have to dare to try all the things that you even fear if you really have some good points, don't sell all of them to be exchanged into bitcoin. Try to save and hold strong until the time all altcoin rises, you just loose or you buy bitcoin with your personal money. while bitcoin hasn't gone up because if you believe in the future of bitcoin then you will be a lucky person.

No you should not sell all alts, because crypto market will more grow in future. So you hold your alts. When market will grow , than you sell your alt coins.
In my case if I sell all altcoins I would lose 80%. But if I hold it for 5-10 years, wait for bull markets, maybe one of those coins will survive and it will cover all my losses.

In my opinion selling should not sell all Altcoins because of the current price of BTC changing regularly and the Altcoins too so you can sell half and hold back to wait for a good opportunity. BTC will go up and even around $ 45K and you should wait for the BTC price. You don't worry about it.

calm your mind first, don't jump to conclusions. this way I think you better keep it first and monitor how the next bitcoin situation is, because the situation sometimes changes, without us knowing. if indeed the longer the price decreases it is better to sell it does not matter, but not all of them. only half first.
