Hi I am still a newbie in this forum and today I sent a private msg to a senior member asking a question. is it violation of this forum rules? Because I saw a warning in red letter when I checked the sent mails.. I appreciate if you can help me to make clear this issue.

It's just a security precaution.  You're allowed to send private messages, but the recipient doesn't get a full copy of the message to their email inbox and they get a big red warning on the forum PM inbox to say it was sent from a relatively new account.  It's just in case someone set up a new profile trying to impersonate a more senior member.  This limits the risk of anyone attempting to defraud someone by false representation or some other sort of scam that could be enabled by pretending to be someone else.  It's the same for all new accounts and nothing to worry about.

It's also possible admins may check or review some of the messages from newbie accounts and delete them if there's anything suspect going on.  Once in a while I get an email saying I had received a PM from a newbie account, but when I log in to the forum to check it, no new PM is there.  I assume I'm not missing anything important, heh.  They shouldn't be deleting yours if it's a genuine message.

That has all of the relevant information. Should probably be stickied, or added to an existing sticky.
