This is a thread for Americans who want to highlight an American business, which makes its products in the US, and which you want others to contact to request that it start accepting bitcoin. Please post links to such businesses here. I've started contacting businesses I patronize from this database: http://www.madeinusa.org/

Excellent USA-made stuffed animals! http://www.stuffingtonbear.com/Please request that they add bitcoin payments. I usually ask them that they add BitPay or BIPS to make it easier for them.

good idea!
As everybody buys silver, Silver Eagles are awesome (but the money goes to the government instead of a real business run by US citizens).
OPM, Ohio Precious Metals (which I'm sure most people have heard of by now) is my current favorite US mint. They make silver rounds in bars in a variety of sizes, and often they are the ones you can buy for the lowest premium over spot. Generic does not mean low-quality. As a matter of fact, OPM guarantees some (if not all) of their silver to be .9995 pure. That last 5 isn't something to shrug off!
Also, they use recycled industrial silver to make most of their products. So, another reason to support them!

AMSOIL is pretty good. I've used it for years in my cars, and bought it online and from local dealers. If the Amsoil site would accept btc, I think many local dealers will accept it also: http://www.amsoil.com/

I wonder which one of the Robinson dealers is the most likely to sell for btc first? They finally have a turbine model. Looks like it would be about 8000 btc brand new right now. http://www.robinsonheli.com/rhc_contact_information.html

Would be great if Georgia Arms accepted btc, but they are so swamped with fiat that they really don't have much use for bitcoin. So, the best we can do is probably ask them to put their gift certificate on gyft.com and egifter.com, which is also a long shot.

Ontario Knife Company makes an excellent product line in the USA! They don't sell to the public, but you can write any of their distributors that you like: http://ontarioknife.com/where-to-buy.html
