Our official website is http://zccoin.org

New version 0.5.2.2 released to fix openssl heartbleed issue.
Download: https://app.box.com/s/j56hzbslyam4ds3jtaov

Total moneysupply api: http://www.zccoin.org/api/minted.php

ZCC on Cryptonator.com - cryptocurrency converter

Webmaster can check out our free customizable price tickers https://www.cryptonator.com/widget

There's also JSON API available for developers https://www.cryptonator.com/api

Example calls
https://www.cryptonator.com/api/ticker/zcc-btc
https://www.cryptonator.com/api/full/zcc-btc

Zcc is on N=14 now and YACMiner is recommended - which is geared for mining coins with high N Factor https://github.com/thirtybird/yacminer

yacminer --scrypt-chacha --worksize 128 -g 1 --lookup-gap 8 --buffer-size 2590 -R 5120 -o stratum+tcp://<pool address>:<port> -u <username> -p <password> --nfmin 12 --nfmax 30 --starttime 1375817223

or try this if you only have 4 GB memory

yacminer --scrypt-chacha --worksize 128 -g 2 --lookup-gap 8 --buffer-size 1295 -R 2560 -o stratum+tcp://<pool address>:<port> -u <username> -p <password> --nfmin 12 --nfmax 30 --starttime 1375817223

If you're over 4 KH/sec with those settings, you're in the ballpark.  The higher the buffer-size you can allocate, the higher you can set -R. Thanks Thirtybird for his kind sharing.

For example, working conf for 280x is:

"api-allow" : "W:192.168.8.131,127.0.0.1",
"api-listen" : true,
"scrypt-chacha" : true,
"worksize" : "256",

"rawintensity" : "5120",
"buffer-size" : "2590",
"lookup-gap" : "8",
"auto-fan" : true,
"temp-target" : "73",
"temp-overheat" : "80",

"gpu-engine" : "1030",
"gpu-mclock" : "1500",

"gpu-powertune" : "20",

"nfmin" : "12",
"nfmax" : "30",
"starttime" : "1375817223",

"temp-cutoff" : "85",
"gpu-threads" : "1",
"queue" : "0",
"scan-time" : "1",

"no-submit-stale" : true,
"expiry" : "10"
}

ZcCoin has been listed by Cryptsy as below:
https://www.cryptsy.com/markets/view/140
ZcCoin v0.5.2 is MANDATORY UPGRADE, and all users must upgrade before Feb. 1st.

The main updates are:

No Consecutive POS blocks are allowed

Wallet speed up

UI enhancements

Update checkpoints to 223700

https://app.box.com/s/8nhr0gy59s7xdkaqg5h4

ZcCoin is listed on bter now:
https://bter.com/trade/zcc_btc
https://bter.com/trade/zcc_cny

ZcCoin has been listed on btc38 for ZCC/CNY exchange:
http://www.btc38.com/trade.html?btc38_trade_coin_name=zcc

Block explorer:
http://be.botpool.org:2752/

ZcCoin was launced on Aug. 8th (UTC+8), and the spec is as below:
POS+POW based on YaCoin and scrypt-jane
50 coins per block for each minute, and will vary with difficulty
1 billion coins in total
520 confirmations for mining
Initial difficulty at 0.03
Nfactor starting from 12
RPC port 12210, P2P port 10583

Here is the difference between ZCC and YAC:
The gap between the CPU and GPU was narrowed for quite a lot when we start with 12 instead of 4.
We did not generate coins over speed on the first day, which fixed one of the the problem of YAC too.
We released the GPU and CPU miner at almost the same time.
All the above changes make ZcCoin more equal opportunity, which is our first concern. Please access http://www.zccoin.org/?lang=en for more information about us.

The pools are listed as below:

Since starting Nfactor is 12, GPU will not work for ZcCoin, however, you could always verify this yourself with the cgminer we will provide then.
Another thing is the initial difficulty and revised difficulty tracking speed, which will fix the 1st day blow out.
The most important thing we concern is equal opportunity, which means no blow out on first day, and CPU only from the first day.
Look forward to it.  How will this be different than ybcoin?

Another clone... why? What does it offer that's unique over the others?

Also, what's with this "Reserved" epidemic? Did people forget how conversations work? Someone says a statement, then 10 people say "Reserved". Are you Pokemon? I don't get it.

You could consider this as relaunch of YAC with bug fixed, including initial difficulty, Nfactor, etc

Will the Long-poll or Stratum be used? I assume coinmine will have a pool.

We have nothing to do with Freecoin team, but it seems that they take us as enemy and rush to launch it a few hours before us.

Considering the big Nfactor and initial difficulty, we will launch two pushpools at the same time. Of course, it will be perfect if coinmine could have a pool for us too.

Freecoin has averaged over 1 block per second so far. It's pretty crazy.

Let's see how this one goes.

Free(Orphan)coin )) what will be with zccoin?? )) source will be available?))

I don't think we will have lots of orphans cause the large Nfactor and initial difficulty. Meanwhile, please don't expect to solo mine too much, it will be better to use the pools.
Source will be available soon on github after I do some clean up.
