Can asic miner mined any SHA-256 cryptocoin and by extension can it also mine any scrypt  cryptocoin.

Current ASIC can only mine SHA-256

As near as I know ASIC miners only work for bitcoin - not the alt coins (nor can they do the scrypt algo...)

You can mine pretty much any SHA-256 based altcoin with current ASIC, not that I condone altcoins at all, but you can if you wish.

Current ASIC dont have enought RAM for scrypt based coins, so you can maybe use it on TeraCoin, but i dont think that it is profitable. so if you have ASIC mine bitcoins until it will not be profitable for you.

its not about ram, its a whole different algorithm. and no they are not able to be used for both.
