I have been interested in cryptocurrency for a year already and watching the next picture. The percentage of bitcoin dominance is decreasing in percent (about 35%). A month ago, there were 50 - 55%. What do you think about this? It seems to me that altcoins are more attractive for investment and more technological, so they are increasingly investing in altcoins.

if to be interested in bitcoin or altcoin it depends on each person but for now it is investing in altcoin is good
because the price is still cheap and to buy it so can get a lot of coin and when experiencing a big increase then its profit is also greater than investing in bitcoin

I do not think bitcoin will be overtaken for now, its dominance will decrease as the glabal crypto market grows and other top coins see their dominance even out also

Bitcoin is the back bone or grandpa for the altcoins out there, when the price of bitcoin drops so does the altcoins value as well, because we trader use bitcoin to buy altcoins across various exchanges. Bitcoin will always be the main currency for all the altcoins generations to come.

Bitcoin may have the chance of becoming the next global currency and this is one of the elite and not connected to a particular nation's economy.
Also, I believe it is very useful in using money transaction across the international border. Currently, bitcoin the the 1st ever cryptocurrency which is still leading in terms of ranking.

Bitcoin still has a long way to go, in order to be the main currency in this industry due to the fact that many people, country, and business establishments have not yet fully accept the benefit of having bitcoin served as mode of payment for their products and services, it will really need a lot of proving for those influential persons.

I think you could answer your own question if you know why and how prices go up and down or simply how volality works.
Bitcoin and altcoins are unpredictable. We may assume that bitcoin can remain dominant through tradings, altcoins are useful by complementing each other. You can diversify your coins and use it properly.
So apparently, movements can never be predicted accurately. Events, news and functioning will preferably boost or destroy any coin's reputation. So it's up to you if you would consider holding any other coins.

Yep, my prediction is coming true. Bitcoin will lose ground in favor of the altcoins. The king is falling, but nevertheless, it will always be the true king.

If you'll come back to few years ago bitcoin's price even went down too much the same what like happened currently but this is the biggest decrease that has been in record for bitcoin. But to be fair, bitcoin has been recorded too for having the biggest increase of all time.

Being the main stream currency won't happen shortly, because people doesn't have the mentality to accept something that's is visible but can't feel it. The growth it has attained might be big, which will be acceptable by the people who were much attached to technology.

If you are currently observing Bitcoin rates, you may be skeptical about the future of Bitcoin replacing the offline currency. But if I look at the long term, I still believe Bitcoin will be the main currency. Because the future if Bitcoin becomes popular all over the world, it will be very convenient for the transaction because of its convenience as well as fast. The next 20 years, when the Internet is everywhere, Bitcoin trading will be easier now, I believe that Bitcoin will become the main currency.

Bitcoin will probably still be on top in the future if it innovates (lighting network,...) and bitcoin is still used to buy altcoins Wink

It loses ground, it might lose the first place and Ripple seems to be a good opponent for now. Too bad Ethereum fell on the 3rd place, but let's not forget that Litecoin, Cardano, XEM and Stellar are not too far behind.

I think that might be possible, but not this year definitely, bitcoin will reach $100k first before that happens Grin
There are plenty good altcoins out there for investment purposes, but you still need bitcoin to buy most of them as main currency

The earlier LN is implemented, the quicker btc will regain its absolute dominance.
To be honest, with high transaction fee btc now is not ideal for real world payment adoption.
