I personally do not like subscription models.
I understand they are great for the pocket book of the service but I prefer to pay when I use rather than pay and sometimes not use.

Interesting. I'll try to see if there is a model around what you mentioned.

I hope so, bitcoin is really good for the micropayment model.

For example, I wanted to read a Wall Street Journal article that required subscription. I don't want to pay for their subscription, I would not use it enough. However I would have gladly paid the equivalent of a dollar to read the one article. That wasn't an option, so they didn't separate me from any of my money and I didn't get to read the article. We both lost out.

It would be great if there was a bitcoin entepreneur that helped places like the WSJ make that happen without the WSJ needing to commit to bitcoin and invest in the web programming to support bitcoin processing themselves.

Close. It's print but not a newspaper. It's an indie book publishing company.

Seems there is a lot of people working on this already such as BitWall and a few others. But I hear what your saying!

Not sure.
I'm wondering if subscriptions on sites such as 1fichier, uploaded.to, rapidshare, etc. wouldn't beat pr0n.
Newsgroups might be worth a try, too.

True, any of those would work I'll check them out. For right now going to offer 3 sites Hulu, Netflix and Spotify then open it up to any subscription service.  Newsgroups is another one.

Pay for porn?  Shocked

bittorrent, xnxx.com, redtube.com, youporn.com, mylifetime.com, etc.

Even being in Afghanistan on a military base, with a 90% male population, making a lot of money I still do not see the reason to pay for porn.

First seastead company actually selling sea homes: Ocean Builders https://ocean.builders  Of course we accept bitcoin.

You just are forgetting it's much harder to find a wandering goat when you're in a hotel room in NY or Berlin.
