I need 3BTC for $300 USD or as close to that as possible. I do not use many payment methods. Only PayPal and I know that and BTC don't mix well.

Could you guys give some advice for how to get this cash into BTC, or possibly offer me a solution? Thanks.

You are going to have a VERY difficult time finding anyone willing to do PayPal at $100 per bitcoin.

Some other options:

I'll do 2.67023 BTC for $300 in my hands.

Depending on how big of a hurry you are in and what sort of fees you're willing to pay, there are a few options:

  • U.S. postal money order will cost you $1.20. Payment is guarnateed by the U.S. Post Office and they will replace lost/damaged money orders
  • Cash can be sent through the mail for the cost of a $0.46 stamp if you take some reasonable precautions
  • You can make payment via MoneyGram or Western Union for immediate needs (but there will be some significant fees)
  • If you are anywhere near Chicago, I'd be willing to meet up for face-to-face cash exchange
  • If you have a friend or family member near Chicago that you trust to make payment for you, I'd be willing to meet up with them for face-to-face cash exchange
  • Have you looked into https://localbitcoins.com ?
