Hello All,

I am coming to the game a bit late but I was hoping to build a small mining system to mainly learn and maybe generate a little $$ on the side however (hopefully pay off my GPUs I am planning to buy) I am a bit uncertain about my current setup.

As of now my plan is to use a HP Z420 system, Intel LGA 2011, 4 G RAM, 2 RX 460 GPUs, and currently I have a 600 Watt power supply.

My plan is to remove a couple extra fans that came with the chassis to reserve wattage for my GPUs as I don't think they really did much anyhow.  From my research the GPUs should hover at about 100 Watts each so I think my plan should be OK.  Then I am thinking about putting PIMPOS on the system as I seen good reviews unless someone knows something better as I am trying to stay away from Windows.

I am still trying to hash out a few other small details but as of right now perhaps someone could give me some feedback?

Thanks in advance,

Joe
