wallet.dat in KeyPass - good or bad idea?

I just realized KeyPass can store files in it

Does anyone keep copy of their wallet or savings wallet in KeyPass?  If you use key file and password it should be pretty safe in there and less files to worry about when dealing with multiple backups, etc.
Any real disadvantages besides if intruder gets a hold and access to your KeyPass db?

I've been using keepass for about 2 weeks, the other day, my file with passwords was all the sudden corrupted. However I was able to fix it really easily, by making a new file and importing the corrupted file in kbx 2.0 (repair) so it is possibly a good idea.

Might be a good idea for a spending account, I don't think it would be a good idea for a savings wallet. The biggest problem is there is always a chance of key loggers and malicious code could also target the keepass software.
