Hi everyone, I bought ASUS Mining Expert last month, but I notice something weird with this mobo, Im using also the latest build of Windows 10 X64 (1709) because of my friends who are in the crypto mining suggested this Windows build..

Problem I encounter:

1. Even I modified the mobos bios and setting up the Gen1 all and enable 4G, still some of the cards not detected or has an exclamation point (I'm using 10 RX Series cards and plan to add NVIDIA soon because some advice that it will not run properly if I use full Radeon cards)
2. Even I use the latest driver cannot detected some of my cards (cards with exclamation point) meaning the driver doesn't install properly with the card.
3. I need to use amdpatcher to detect all cards.
4. When I use patcher, I notice that the windows start button, cortana and the taskbar are not working, So when I restart or shutdown the rig I press the reset button to shutdown..

How about you guys, do you have a solution with this problem, your help is highly appreciated..

If you are using this motherboard, let us help one another and share some tips how to unleash the potentiality of this mobo..

listed down below is all the settings you need to change in bios
x16 and x1 lane speed to gen1
4g decoding on
6+ mining on
now installing blockchain drivers and patching the drivers should sort out all the problems

As of now I add another rx 570 overall 10gpu now, but the weirdest happen is no display, I dont what happen..

atikmdag-patcher-1.4.5 must be installed regardless of what motherboard you use, only mining cards and some rx 580, dont need the patch.

Yes I already patched my driver, but when i add gpu's and make it 10gpus adding in my mobo there is no display, but when i insert 6 to 8gpu there is a display

Have you use the latest driver of radeon guys? the  Radeon Adrenalin 17.12.1, the problem i was encountered is, the is no way to control the fan, so you don't have any idea the state of your gpu if it is overheat o what, I think this b250 is a problem board I am planning for RMA.. Asrock is much better than this b250
