What will happen to the banks if people uses cryptocurrencies more than fiat?

I think, banks will just find the way how to integrate cryptocurrencies and will ask help from the government to find the way how to regulate it. That's why, I don't think, that banks will just disappear, even if cryptocurrencies will be used almost by everyone in near future. And I don't even think, that cryptocurrencies will be used almost by everyone in near future, since more and more people using them as a kind of virtual assets, than a kind of payment method.

If cryptocurrencies will be the basic mode of exchange in the future, what will happen to the banks then?

You can not worry about banks. They worked and will work even when the crypto currency partially displaces fiat, and will also become the main form of financial settlements between citizens. Banks will in any case find a job and will continue to extract their profits, perhaps not so much. Banks are needed by the state and the state will always support them. Nothing is going to happen to the bank as its not everybody that would partake in the trading with this crypto currency and banks do not exist to save money in alone. But if it happens, we will see the system change as well.

No one exactly knows what can happen in the future.
I am guessing that if cryptocurrencies are to be used as a regular currency for everyday living in the society overall, banks will have to adjust to it. Governments use banks to regulate and even gain profit as an additional source aside from taxes so I don't think governments will just let go banks in favor of cryptos.

I think bank will need to adjust if that scenario comes besides some of the banks started to adopt bitcoin because we can change our bitcoin to those bank who accept bitcoin and for sure the government will make an action to regulate the situation.
