Those days ripple is doing really well, it has more than half of bitcoin market cap and has 19% market dominance.
I hate ripple as a cryptocurrency as it's centralized, now seems that ripple is the queen, not ethereum.
That really is making me upset but I want to hear your thoughts.
Well, ripple is a good potential coin now a days but if we compare the ripple into bitcoin, i think it can not surpass the value of it because bitcoin is a superior of all crypto-currencies world wide. |

The thing is with centralization they can really go out and get big projects and scale faster. So from a business perspective it makes sense. I personally do not like Ripple.

I do not believe that ripple is the queen or next on bitcoin. It is ethereum. All my friends and bitcoiner I know trusted ethereum just like bitcoin. If you monitor the ethereum value right now, it almost reach $1000. More people (bitcoiner) use ethereum as a backup on their bitcoins. So do not be upset. That is just a hearsay and without proof. Besides, the value of ripple just fluctuated last week. |

Every time it seems more likely that this event may happen, but not necessarily because Ripple is the great crypto that the market needs to solve all the limitations that the bitcoin has faced recently, but rather because of the growing speculative wave that seems to be taking control of the market, since from the purely technical point of view there would seem to be altcoins with better features than Ripple, but this fact seems unknown to the large capitals that prefer to invest in "safest" options since right now they have begun to distrust bitcoin and are looking for new options to speculate.

I think it will not happen, and the good news is bitcoin will not be overtaken by any altcoin
From the beginning bitcoin has become the benchmark price for all altcoin and it would be better if it remained that way

For me, Ripple will be limited to replace Ethereum only in which an ambitious leap to replace Bitcoin was really impossible for now. It will take many years for Ripple to surpass the Bitcoin throne with chances of very impossible to none because no matter how many Ripple you have right now still in the end you will trade it to bitcoin for fiat. |

Can someone me forward where I can read about Ripple and that XRP actually is something the banks are not interested in so the whole currency is just a sham? That they are interested in part of the company which is not XRP. I heard about it. Your opinions?

I know ripple goes into the moon the price in the coinmarketcap but i don't believe ripple overtake the bitcoin price in the market price bitcoin are now in the stable price into 13 to,14k usd movement for the ethereum i know this year as the prediction hoping to uprise in the market because now is the year for altcoins moving up the price but nobody can overtake the king. |

There is no way Ripple can beat bitcoin. People just see a cheap coin that they can afford just to join the crypto game.
They got a lucky bump and that is it.

No way man, it will never happen that ripple will surpass bitcoin. Well i heard a news why ripple value getting higher because some banks adopted ripple coin. But never, never, it will never overtake bitcoin.

It's actually dumping right now lol. But i agree. Though it overtook eth as the second top crypto, thanks to banks behind it, bitcoin will not be overtaken. Wait for another btc surge and it will show everyone who's boss in cryptocurrencies |

BTC is the most famous, people socially believes in what other people believe, so... I think BTC is going to be the leader for the next years. A lot of newbies wants to come into the Cryptoworld, and society believes in BTC. If everyone believes in something, would you chose differently?? I don’t think so. I believe Ripple, is going to rise up, as another altcoins will do. But BTC is going to conserve the crown for a while. |

i dont think ripple can overtake the bitcoin. may be the marketcap increases if ripple is supported by some good comapnies in future. i think the the increase in the marketcap is due to the the bank acceptance. but i dont think the price of the ripple increases to a high level.
Ripple just have got the momentum to makes a lot of people interested in their project, but for real they have no future like what bitcoin has with its wonderful electronic money system , ripple would remain as an altcoin, nothing more and nothing you can expect from them. |

Ripple was overbought so has now seen a natural correction. I would be surprised if we saw it regain its ATH any time soon. Can't see it being a long term competitor to Bitcoin. There are so many other better more versatile options and Ripple goes against most of what crypto stands for being centralised

Ripple only rises its demand on their coins yet their price is still very far from becoming the second to bitcoin. Yes every cryptocurrency has a tendency to rise above bitcoin but it will take some time to make it happen. Still bitcoin beats every other crypto in terms of price, reliability and stability on its platform. So whether you like it or not, it is better to trust bitcoin than any other coins. |

As each day passes, I foresee the day many have envisioned, where Bitcoin has paved the way, but an alternative Crypto overtakes it and leads the way from then on.
The transaction fee's are killing BTC atm.

Yes there's a possibility for any crypto not just ripple
But now i think ripple is more possible to overtake Bitcoin and become number one in spot
as ripple is gaining every week compare to any altcoins

ripple taking over bitcoin in terms of prices in 2018 is next to impossible because of the huge price difference.I am not saying that it is impossible but it is very difficult. The prices of Bitcoin will come down when People will start to trade all their Bitcoin for something else. it can be ripple.

In my personal opinion, I don't think Ripple can overtake Bitcoin just like that. Bitcoin already has proven something in the crypto world. Bitcoin's already a foundation in the cryptocurrency. Ripples got a lot of catching up to do before it can take over Bitcoin. We all know that there's a bit of issue BTC is facing, but it won't bring BTC down beneath. It may go down a couple of notches, but eventually, it will rise again like it used to be. Bitcoins dominance is unquestionable!
