It is worth saying that Bitcoin is king and always will be, but we can not underestimate the strength of bankers and institutions, the strongest pump I've seen in a little bit in relation to market cap and the most interesting is the amount of supply, more than 38 Billion that's amazing, it's breaking down barriers.

Ripple is a very good coin, but I do not believe that it will ever outrun bitcoin by capitalization and will become more popular than bitcoin. It should be remembered that a ripple is just a coin for banks

To overtake Bitcoin, Ripple is unlikely to succeed in the near future, but that does not mean that its technology would not be interesting to the banking system. Structural business model XRP needs to bring successful development of the company and good profit.

Ripple overtake Bitcoin? Wow, that would be a tragedy, and would go against everything that the cryptoworld stands for, which is mainly a decentralized monetary system. Remember that Ripple has an unlimited supply as well...kind of like fiat.

I believe that sooner or later bitcoin will go away in history. Exchange will be created, on which it will be possible to change tokens into tokens, without binding to ether or bitcoin.

I do not believe there will be any coin that can replace bitcoin and the ripple too. Although Bitcoin is having a lot of bad news, bitcoin still has a lot of good features that other altcoins have not. So I think bitcoin will still grow very well in the near future, this year bitcoin target is 100k USD, I think this is possible to do. |

Ripple gonna take bitcoin is only in your dream and all ripple fans dream. Ripple project funded by bitcoin tho and every single alt coin on earth price is depend on bitcoin price. The real decentralised coin in this world is only bitcoin. I dont care about people fud about its transaction fee. I still believe this bitcoin and crypto market cap can beat gold marketcap.

The developer of Ripple has doing some partnership to gain some momentum to their coins. That could be their alternative solution for them to stay on track as they are left behind after those $3 price. Hope to see ripple doing a bull run soon to have a good comparison to bitcoin. Indeed, ripple is just a promising star of digital currency and it's a long long way to go for ripple to be on the level of bitcoin. |

This might be and ripple has huge potential to beat Bitcoin, but I am sure that it wont happend faster then 5 years from now.
Sure Ripple way faster, cheaper, and backed up by the banker, but Bitcoin adoption is worldwide now, and if you see the market cap growth in last year, seems like no anykind of investment / asset will be able to do it like bitcoin

Honestly, it's very difficult that your opinion ( idea) will be achieved in the near future, despite that Ripple (XRP) has a high value of Market cap and their price is low ( $ 0,94 ) compared to other currnencie, but in reality, Bitcoin exceeds all currencies in everything ( Price, value of market cap, Volume...) and at the all last years.
On the other hand, Why the value of market cap (Ripple) is too big ?
Simply, this digital currency was created by the governments (through many big banks). As well, their goal was to destroy Bitcoin. That's why the value of this currency is huge.
But in my opinion, I do not expect that in some day, Ripple or other currency will take the place of the king Bitcoin at the top of the market.
