Can't tell really. While it has risen really fast for the fast couple days, it stayed at 700$ for almost a month, so its really unpredictable.

i don't think so. everything is possible in crypto but it doesn't look realistic tbh |

The possibility is very high for ethereum will cross $2k in february, because there more ICO's that using eth as payment are coming and the purchase of ethereum will increase. More people will need ethereum.

It is possible for ethereum to hit $2k in february since most of the projects here are done with the help of eth by means of paying and as long as its growth is consistent. Also it is one of the cryptos with strong supporters and has a lot of new investors thats why hitting a 2k usd is possible.

yes the extraordinary pumping is now one of the factors driving up the price of ETH. In addition, many smart-based altcoin contracts from ethereum can add to and support ETH price hikes. but I do not think February will touch $ 2k. I'm just sure the end of Q1 will touch $ 2k. |

I don't know if it can hit 2k in a month's time but anything is possible, look at what happened to coins like Ripple and Cardano in such a short space of time. I think Ethereum has plenty of room to grow and it all depends really;y on how much new money comes into crypto and who actually wants to back ETHEREUM TECHNOLOGY and projects as well as just buying the coin for speculation purposes. All we can do is look back on this thread a month later and see what transpired.
Yes, it is not hard to believe . If Ripple hit the 3$, i predicted 2$ maximum..So, no surprises, if Ethereum grows till 2k$, may be even more. Look at BCH...I dont want to compare, but where is BCH and where is ETH?  |

If you can just imagine all the current projects being started and crowdfunded on the Ethereum platform, it's hard to imagine any hard incoming downfall of value... And even though ETH isn't actually even a 'currency', I think there are more hodlers of the coin than the ones actually using or 'burning' the ETH as fuel. It's actually hard to see a centralized project such as XRP shoot past it on one of the most known 'means' (cfr. marketcap) of evaluating a coin or project... Not that Ethereum has had a flawless history but still... And for those who don't know it: https://www.blocktivity.info/ is another coin comparing site which shows, opposed to the marketcap of each coin or token, the EFFECTIVE use of that blockchain. As you can imagine this puts some completely different projects at the top of the list  But enough of the coin evaluation lesson... Ethereum to 5k by the end of this year! |

That is too much hope for Ethereum you got. It was not easy for Ethereum to reach 1,000 dollars. And yet, you think there will be another additional 1,000 dollars to Ethereum’s price? I am so sorry to tell you that that is impossible to happen. The price of Ethereum falls and rises at a low rate. It can reach 2,000 dollars maybe next year, not next month.

Ethereum just hit 1K and already you wonder if it could be 2K in February. The price increase is already slowing down with a small correction. Ethereum is normally going up with small steps at a low speed. So, it's great that the price was 1K today. Let's just see that the price increases steadily.

Absolutely, ethereum coin can make it into $2,000 this february due to many investors have investing in ethereum because they believe that ethereum will increases as soon as the bitcoin will face the hardfork so its the only ethereum will increase but whole altcoins this year will rise its value. |

Eth has very high potential and it is progressing every now and then and with eth reaching 2k is absolutely possible. However, with the timeframe given, i donmt think eth can reach such value in a short time. Maybe in 6 months it will but with just 2 months, i think that is too short tsking into consideration eth's pacing in its growth.

I think $2k in February is too early and too short amount of time, as you can see the previous price it's not that fast enough to gain $1k in just a month. So it'll probably gonna hit $2k at maybe in the middle of the year. Though it still good to invest right now since the price is going down again a bit and hold for 6 months and you will probably gained much more of a profit.

Despite I love ether, your prediction sounds too optimistic for me. Of course it will reach 2k usd but not in February in my opinion. It will be around current level a bit (900-1000 area) then it will target around 1300 usd and it will struggle a bit there. |
