So I tried to "cheap" it on the transaction fee when sending to Coinbase. My transaction has been stuck for 7 days with zero confirmations. I read a few articles on how to get a child transaction to pick up a larger TX fee for the parent, but frankly, it was so confusing I wanted to drop acid, curl up in the corner and cry.

I sent funds from a warm wallet on Blockchain.info, if that helps.

Do I have any solution?
Do I just have to wait until some mastermind figures out BTC is a train wreck right now and needs to be overhauled on TX fees and wait times?

Any suggestions, help or references would be greatly appreciated.

It would help if you can post your public BTC address or the tx so we can check it out.

I have the exact same problem my man. Sent from Bitcoin Core wallet to Coinbase on the 12th of december. Been pending ever since on Coinbase, with no confirmations.

The transaction ID shows something else though, it says its been received 9 days ago and 4 hours ago, which is weird. I also found the Child transaction to be hard to grasp.

Since this is the same issue, ill just post my transactions here too. Hope someone can help out. Smiley

You can do a CPFP with Bitcoin Core to make the TX go thruw with a higher fee

A Child-pays-for-parent is doable as long you control at least 1 output of the transaction.
First go to any block explorer (e.g. https://www.blocktrail.com/BTC)  and check your TX (paste your ID to search for it).
Look if there is just 1 output (the amount you have sent) or if there is another output (your change: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Change).
If your TX consists of 2+ outputs you can perform a CPFP.

To do so you have to:
