The trade in crypto-currencies in South Korea will be allowed only with real accounts

The government of South Korea is ready to apply the harsh rules of cryptology.

Anonymous accounting for all transactions in the crypto-currency market will be banned from 20 January by the authorities of South Korea, reports CCN with reference to local sources.

Hm, that is interesting news. It does not have to be necessarily detrimental, but it will make those involved more informed. There will be less idiosyncratic fluctuation on the market perhaps. Also might be time to invest into privacy coins (Deep Onion, Verge, Monero...)

Well, nothing surprising about regulating exchanges and stuff. If they intend to police even transactions outside of that though, they have their work cut out for them. Even monitoring just Bitcoin is hard enough.
