All digital currencies especially bitcoin are designed for long term investment and unpredictable but if you really want to earn thru short term basis you should start from a  big capital investment on top rated coins  like Ripple, Ethereum and bitcoin cash in which all are fast moving, you will earn big for sure if you pour a big capital on these altcoins.

For me i highly recommend at you just try XVG and XRP for short term trading, this is now trend altcoins in marketcap. XVG and XRP are both have a great technology and these coins are having strong fundamental team to develop. Hopefully these coin where going to the moon soon i'm still holding on it in my portfolio now. Always don't forget to invest ethereum and hold for a long run much better you have it whether in short term or long term for better profit.
