Do you ever feel like you're overly obsessed with cryptocurrencies or trading/investing in general?
Personally, I'm fairly satisfied with my investments/decisions so far but yet I'm looking for market opportunities most of the time. I think that's mainly because of the fact that majority of my time browsing the internet I watch related content. I'm passionate quite passionate about it.

Over time it kinda makes me feel depressed that I don't make as much as I possibly could or others have better scores (some unhealthy jealousy I guess?), so this "paper-chasing" has become a target itself.

When I want to take a break from all this stuff for let's say a month or week at least then I'm not able to because I'm afraid that I will miss out on something.
On the one hand, I have made investments in projects I believe in so I could leave it for few months even and then back but at the other hand, I'm still not quite sure about my diversification so I keep watching the market.

Can anyone relate?

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

THIS is So ME!!. Since I indulge myself in Crypto and trading at large, have had less time to do any other thing. Now I feel I can't go a day without checking updates, even when am sure my investment could be left for weeks if not months without regular check. Now am absorbed in Crypto. I hope I hit my target soon enough to b able able to attend to other pressing issue

Hey there,

Look, it can become a bit of an addiction. I think most of my phone's battery usage is from refreshing Blockfolio...over and over again. You do end up coming a bit obsessed, it's crazy.

Sometimes a break from crypto can be healthy, although I like to keep my finger on the pulse of what's happening :S

If it starts taking over your life definitely take a break, even for a week.

Yes.
But can you really call that an addiction or just an avid supporter of every crypto currency?

There is not a day that I wont check my balance if it goes up or down.
I guess that is what happens when you have a lot of investment on the line.
You just cannot take off your eyes on it because you dont want something to happen to it.
It is like my baby now.

Absolutely, and I'm glad to not be alone! Actually, I'm addicted to forex, and I?m just a beginner in crypto, but I can predict that this will be my next mania... :-)))))

Yes I feel the same way, OP. Fact is that I've actually earned a lot of bitcoins last month problem is, I lost the profits and a huge portion of by initial investment. Now I feel really frustrated and that I feel obsessed in getting back the losses I had. Problem is, every move I make I am at the losing end, I can't seem to get profits now. Not sure how the hell I lost so much money, but things got really crazy in crypto lately and the risk was really high.

Yep, I'll fully come out and say that for the past few weeks I've become fully consumed by the Bitcoin community, crypto videos, and so on and so forth. Given I do have a good amount invested in Crypto right now, so that is a big reason for me being involved in Crypto and wanting to know whats going on.

But yeah, Crypto is one of those things that if you were to stop then YES you would probably miss out on a good amount of things. So I'd just budget some time so you don't let yourself get consumed by Crypto and you can still live your life but that is up to you.

FOMO and FUD are real.
However it's not an understatement to say that cryptocurrency is one of the most interesting things happening in the world right now -- there's so much possibility, potential, and risk involved it's easy to get really into it. I know I am.

Well, a healthy mind will notice if it's beginning to be an addiction.
You're not.

This past year I got a lot of profit from bitcoins's bubble which had been predicted by our "prophets".
Sold them at 20k$ then recently bought some at 13$.
Such a feat without an over-obsession in the background.

What I'm saying is:
Do not think of possibilities to something you can't control, it will stress you out.
Learn to take a break.

I think it is just natural that you keep on checking your investment, it is your investment and you are supposed to be concern about it.

If you are just investing, then it is fine to leave your crypto for a while so it can develop and increase in price. And since you are invested long term, calm yourself and do other stuff. It will take your mind away from crypto and trading.

As of the moment I am still in the process of learning new things and now to trading, I have seen a lot of obsessed here and I wanted to be one of them as well as I want to earn aside from campaigns, with trading I can promote and encourage my friends to do this as well.
And if that kind of addiction will lead me to success, why not?

I think more people are addicted to the crypto currencies because crpto currency investment has the ability to give huge profits in short term like gambling but people need to understand the risks also before investing.Because anything can happen people may lose their investment in no time and will be affected by depression or many other issues,so don't get addicted to it and only invest the amount affordable to lose for you.

I also feel the urge of being addicted in investing my time and effort in learning and studying about cryptocurrency. I guess there is nothing wrong with this kind of addiction, because i will benefit in the end in a good way, have money and learnings. I also think that all of the users of bitcoin are addicted to the idea of earning with it.

Crypto's will definitely change you and a your life even your attitude maybe molded by the vibe that is going on in the crypto world. It is in your mindset to be updated at crypto's all the time worrying about some important stuff on missing out that's good actually I've been experiencing that too. Although you can't cal it an addiction it's just a matter of conscience sympathy towards your crypto risks.

I don't think what you are feeling is normal. But my guesses are you are putting all your money in cryptocurrency that is why you are feeling that way that your whole life depends on it. It is a good thing that you are passionate with what you are doing but I don't think its good that you are letting your emotions take over you. You must also learn that in trading it can always go the other way around as there is no such thing as a 100% accurate forecast. You must be dedicated with what you are doing but not addicted.

Who would not lead to addiction when you can earn unlimited here especially in trading where in you can play with your money thru converting to coins. This kind of addiction is in a nice way so I think that it is better than nothing profit at all, we should grab opportunities as if it is the last so we can do our best on it and when we are already having our profit don't waste your money instead use your profit in holding bitcoin and in putting up your own business.

I am also in similar mindset, I have some break from my studies these days and waiting to join masters degree after few months. So basically I am in free time and I am trying to use this time to earn some profit from crypto trading and keep on investing few interesting ICOs.

If you know what you are doing than you can make very good constant income from crypto trading but risk of lossing is also high.

If you think job is addiction here you can think Bitcoin trading or other way you in crypto platform. If you are involved in anything you soll get the better earning so addiction is required to make money here.
That is what i believe the bitcoin earning is about.
