Do you ever feel like you're overly obsessed with cryptocurrencies or trading/investing in general? Personally, I'm fairly satisfied with my investments/decisions so far but yet I'm looking for market opportunities most of the time. I think that's mainly because of the fact that majority of my time browsing the internet I watch related content. I'm passionate quite passionate about it.
Over time it kinda makes me feel depressed that I don't make as much as I possibly could or others have better scores (some unhealthy jealousy I guess?), so this "paper-chasing" has become a target itself.
When I want to take a break from all this stuff for let's say a month or week at least then I'm not able to because I'm afraid that I will miss out on something. On the one hand, I have made investments in projects I believe in so I could leave it for few months even and then back but at the other hand, I'm still not quite sure about my diversification so I keep watching the market.
Can anyone relate?
Unfortunately, I have exhausted my merit. This kind of post and reality is why I agree with some fellas that, this merit system is not really doing what it is meant to do to the right post. The 'buttons' to the merit should be in the confines of the unbiase mode. This is, so that; either instantly, you get what you deserve. Yes, I understand that it might not be easy for the mode , and I also know and understand how the (merit source) works - but we are yet to feel it . My point is, I wonder why no user was moved to give an (s) or merit to OP's post from first page. Or, either they have exhausted theirs like me too Alright, enough of vitupuration. OP, I feel what your point is. What is happening to you is passion and in your own case, strong passion. Mate, it is normal. It is not that you are only guiding your investment but your body and heart are intertwined with your passion. This is just what you enjoy doing. We are both in same boat and luckily, crytocurrency is the new rave - very lucrative but be wise as you invest.

Don't compare yourself with others! i'm pretty sure you'll be doing pretty good in coming year(s), crypto ecosystem is growing, a lot of opportunities will be opened for all of us. When I want to take a break from all this stuff for let's say a month or week at least then I'm not able to because I'm afraid that I will miss out on something.
I feel the same, as i said crypto is growing.. you might miss something good while you're on your break, but you might find something much better after. you get me? On the one hand, I have made investments in projects I believe in so I could leave it for few months even and then back but at the other hand, I'm still not quite sure about my diversification so I keep watching the market.

I am pretty diversified, no doubt about that!

It happens when you are so attached to some thing and that is thing is literally controlling your life than it is very difficult to detached.I hasn't happen to me as i m relatively new and still learning but I know many of my friends who are literally obsessed with this market.Whenever we meet there is only one topic to talk and that is Cryptocurrencies and i feel that is wrong.Though your money comes from this market but you have to manage your time well.

I can relate into this matter which i do have the feeling of thirst when it comes to make profits by means of trading. Missing out opportunities is not really good for me and the feeling of jealous among other traders is always there. We do always doubt that they might able to leave you out on the profiting race.I know it doesnt sounds right since we do have our own ways of doing money.

I can strongly relate . Ever since I joined the cryptocurrency train I've been obsessed with checking my portfolio and the market prices. I even wake up in a middle of the night to check my phone and what's goining with my favorited coins on binance . My thoughts are all the time about how I can my money grow faster and what coin could explode soon. I could call it an addiction because I can't just shut everything and take a break for a while. I just don't think that's possible especially with the current market state. I'm not sure f it's healthy or not ,I mean I feel like what m doing will make me financially independent in the future and increase my savings ,but at the same time it's kinda bad for my healthconsidering all the stress that comes with it.

I think that is the common feeling of many investors when entering into the financial markets and the cryptocurrency market too. The charts and numbers of crypto coins haunt me all day, even in the dream I still see the volatility of the crypto coins. Many investors eat and sleep in the same market, so the impact of the market on themselves is very easy to understand.

I can totally relate with you mate. Sometimes I really feel that I do need a break, but I can't really do it because as what you have said, there might be opportunities that I might be missed. And staying in front of the pc doesn't help at all. Sometimes I was just to go and browse, watch youtube but then again I can't take my eyes on what the current situation of the market.

Same situation here on where it comes to a point that those charts and numbers is already being part of my daily life which i do always think off and talk about numbers related on my investment that its on order or even on idle state. Sometimes people around me notices some odd gestures or behavior which isnt really usual for them to see on me but well its just a normal thing as long we are making money on here it would be just fine.

It is true that the market is really attractive as the perks are higher,it was also hard for me to move away from the market situation for a much longer period of time, but then i have to look after the happiness of my family,so i took a break in December and went out with my family, you have to enjoy life too, because i used to hear complaint from my kids and wife that i am glued to the screen all the time,so you have to make them happy too.

Maybe a little bit, but in my case I wouldn't call it addiction, I can also quit whenever I want (an addict would say that though :p ) No, but seriously, I also have binges of a couple of days in a row that I'm just glued to my screen trading or researching new interesting projects.
The thing is, I know when I have to get other stuff done too and I don't really mind putting my crypto related 'work' on hold, even for a couple of days or longer.

I much related to your situation, sometimes but in my own experience not so much severe, because i've only come from frustation and regret if there are times that i want to convert my bitcoin but in the end i must decide to hold my bitcoin.like things happen now,the bitcoin is down, and i said to my self why should i not sell my bitcoin in those $18K a price in order that i can gain a more fiat but in thr same time my mind said,i have a strong faith that bitcoin will rise soon and i want to hold much more longer my coins.

Addiction is never good. I think the first step is to stop guiding yourself by other's movements, if you lose an opportunity today and others took the opportunity, don't worry, tomorrow it will be your turn. Each one has his own rhytm and it must be respected to don't affect your emotional side, that is very important for an healthy life.
You don't need to take a long break like a month, but you can decrease the frequency you are practicing this activity. At the beginning of financial life things are a bit harder and you need to be more present, but from the moment you have already made a nice profit on, things become easier and you have more freedom in your daily life as you will have more money at your disposal, to invest and to spend. Hard to lose everything this way.

It's not addiction i think, the reason why i can't away from the market because as what happen now all cryptos are down in price. Chasing lose money i think that's one reason why i'm still stick in the market exchange and it takes more time to stay in the market because at this moment we could not leave with loses due to decreasing all cryptos you have nothing to do just hold for a main while.

Yes. But can you really call that an addiction or just an avid supporter of every crypto currency?
There is not a day that I wont check my balance if it goes up or down. I guess that is what happens when you have a lot of investment on the line. You just cannot take off your eyes on it because you dont want something to happen to it. It is like my baby now.
and same thing its not addiction, its OBLIGATION because its your money, and you are obliged to check them from time to time so you wont miss if theres a pump that would happen.like OP because of his investments,he cant take his eyes off to see things about what he's concerned..and besides all of us do that,i am cheking my wallets from minutes to minutes for updating

Addiction on making money, I think its me. Yeah, I have to accept that fact but of course I'm here to learn and not just to make money, I still manage my social life its really balance. I don't see any problem on addiction with cryptocurrency as long as you are doing it for one goal and in a legal way its fine. Addiction sometime the result is greed, greed on making your dream come true.

I think it's related to your mental wellness. I have serious anxiety/depression, I always have to desperately think about something, obviously crypto is perfect for it, but it totally ruins proper thinking, I don't even trade just hodl.

If you can't control your emotion then its hard for you to trade. Addiction on trading is quiet good for me because you have a goal there that needs to accomplish, but sometimes because of greed you forget about the goal you set. Well time managing is one of a great way to prevent from being addict on looking at your portfolio every minute, so set it well.

Naturally, it is a kind of an addiction. Although trading is not gambling, it has some similar characteristics. People that are involved into crypto market stay there for long.

Yes, I can feel that too. For me, it's like gambling sometimes. I wake up in the morning and first thing I do - I take my laptop and immediately go through the news I may have missed during sleep and check all the important coins price charts. I think it may be called addiction...

I think it may be called addiction... But the best thing about this gambling is- there are more chances of winning then losing and it is also possible to recover one’s loss. Such sort of addictions are actually good for health and wealth both. If you ask me, it is your passion and devotion which deserves to be praised. One must love his work and give his best or it is not worth spending time there. Keep on doing good work but never at the cost of your health and sleep.
