Ok Xian, let's make a deal, what do you want for the 7970's?  One or all.  PM me.

Remember, the point of making money mining is to not SPEND money!  Excuse me if I sound like a cheap ass.

My GPU is now reserved for playing games.

I find it to be quite enjoyable.

Well i agree on this gpu is not earning anything worthwhile anymore, unless you live in the cheap electra zones " 0.5 to 0.12 cts per kwh ".
The alt.coins absolutely not pay back my electra costs, even though litecoin is a good and fun coin its value spoils my fun.
But to be honest how can i make a profit with 0.252 E which is about $ 0.31 per kwh
So yes i can get some coins with the 1600 kh/s the 4 7970 can do but i am sure its all costing money instead of earn anything.
Unless these coins jump soon in price towards a respectable value, which i do not think will happen anytime soon.
I bought about 15 B.E and they hash away nicely yes they cost a bit but they need only a small usb fan to cool them
But this temp is not nearly as much as my ati rig which cranks up the room temp with all doors and windows open to an amazing 43 C
My wife yelled if there was a fire somewhere its so super hot in the house , which has costed me an hour to explain what the blazing gpu's was doing
And ofcourse had to kill the miner to make her finally calm down and loose the enormous heat, but the absolute logic of my woman made me realise its time to get rid of these gpu's and buy a single new model for gaming without the lagging Wink

Who wants to mine Litecoins, it's a waste of time because there's nowhere to spend them. I tried it and most of the blocks don't even contain a single transaction. Litecoin is as dead as a dodo.
You can trade them for bitcoins, and they're hitting Gox soon as well, which is quite a large trading site. It obviously shows they have their support behind litecoins.

Basically if 1 GH/s makes you 70 cents a day after power mining bitcoins, 1MH/s will make you around $3 after power costs mining litecoins.

The GPU mining currently is not end, just for somewhere use Like Litecoin, Currently there is no workable FPGA for, The speed is currently slow, 1/1000? I think.

I used to perform GPU mining, However I have found that, If I don't make many bodies to follow up, then I will die that After I have found suitable service to follow up, I have stopped GPU mining for a while.

I hearty agree with as The mining likes I am providing "raw material" for production. Only production and retailing can make money.
