Does depositing eth on trading sites takes time?

I deposited an amount of ethereum in a trading site called binance. The question is, is it normal for an eth transfer to be slow. I set the gas limit to 21000. Is 21000 gas limit enough or I need to set a higher limit? It is already 9 hours since I make a transaction. I'm still noob at trading so please don't judge.
