How to scale out positions?

Hello everybody, I'm trying to learn how to scale out positions but I'm struggling to find the best strategy.

For example: on a profit of +50% is it better to sell the initial investment or the 50% of profits?

If I wanted to sell in 4 times, what could be some good percentages to do so?
