I just saw this stock on havelock. Did people put really 29,800 BTC (~$3,819,764.00) on a 1 page amateur prospectus ? Wow.

Havelock should be discredited to offer IPO like this. Funds asked to be raised are consequent and what is offered hasn't even a business plan nor a prototype/MVP running.

I just saw this stock on havelock. Did people put really 29,800 BTC (~$3819764.00) on a 1 page amateur prospectus ? Wow.

No.  Less than 900 BTC was sold in the IPO.  The rest was off exchange in a "private tx".  Now way to confirm if anything was ever sold to anyone.  However it does make the company look like a massive enterprise.

No. Not even close.

It was a ten page prospectus: https://www.havelockinvestments.com/reportdownload.php?id=23

and a thirty-eight page business plan: https://www.havelockinvestments.com/reportdownload.php?id=21

It would be wise to do some research before throwing stones.

Quick question(s): What happens when you partner with a large Exchange where they're required to disclose where money is coming from? Wouldn't they state your actual name and company info?

Hi Korbman,

All of our company's information will be available once our license is granted .At least for now as the application process is still in progress, we would like to keep a low profile until everything is in place where we can start to accept customers. We don't want to attract unnecessary additional scrutiny from local regulators. Our approach is that we will deal with Fiat and comply with all required AML/KYC/SAR etc. so we should not be treated any differently from other financial services companies.

Thank you,
Crypto Financial

Is there a way to verify this application has actually been submitted and what its current status is? I assume gov institutions in Panama must have some kinda` website where pending applications can be checked or there should be a way to verify this claim.

Update: Crypto Financial

We believe that based on customer acquisition we will add additional Exchanges Bid/Ask platforms and direct Exchanges (Like Coinbase) to our portfolio of offering to our customers.
We don't want to start with 5 Exchanges and only 300 customers where each Exchange will have only a few Bitcoins to trade. We think we will set a goal of a time period plus average trades per day to set the barrier.

We have spoken to several exchange platforms so far, there are currently two (1 Bid/Ask, 1 Direct Exchange) that are ready to be lunched during our Beta timeline (October). Others are still in early Beta and are working hard to move their platforms forward.

We are still considering offering a Beta option for our investors through Havelock to have first dibs on registering with our service if they own 10 shares or more.

We are currently waiting on local regulators to reply to our preliminary application, they have 30 business days to reply with guidance, so we are looking at early October.

We will keep you posted on our progress and thank you for your patience.

How does the recent announcement of bank holiday in panama affect the operation?

This was a non event, just hype by some Gold, Silver traders... It was an update to the ATM Network of one of the banks here in Panama. They thought it would take from Friday to Monday, but they finished early and everything was back online this Morning Sunday.
It was interesting to see the way some in the Anti USD crowd took this upgrade to speculate on "bail-ins/out".
I can't really blame them in light of recent events in other parts of the world.

I can assure you there is no panic in the streets and no lines at the banks.  Panama has over 60% liquidity in the banking sector.

Hey guys, would there be a way to post updates every two weeks on your progress? I know that dealing with regulations can take a long time, but a little bit more communication would be nice.

If we will not finish development for a few more months (+-3), would it be prudent to apply or should we wait until we are 100% ready?

So apparently this huge IPO stock is on it's way up after sitting below IPO levels for a long time. Somebody knows something we don't? Smiley

We are moving along at a steady pace, training our team, getting the infrastructure ready for our back-office to serve our customers.

If you accept Bitcoins we are looking for a front page website developer to create a Parallax theme site for us.

Please send a resume to Contact@cryptofinancial.io

Thank you,

I've been in regular contact with these guys as I am involved in a startup that will use their technology. I can attest to the fact that they seem to be building their platform and getting it tested and deployed. If I had to guess, it will be available to the public within the next 90 days (quite possibly sooner than that).
