I have problems trying to send BTG from my Ledger Nano S.
I get this error message: "SENDING FAILED An error occured. Please try again later."

I have tried to reinstall the BTG app on my Ledger without any progress.

It feels like i tried pretty much everything right now.
I can recieve BTG without problems.

Anyone have any advice what to do to get going ?

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

I never try to send/receive BTG from my Ledger Nano S and did not even claim that coin, but I see you are not only one who has this problem.Try to remove your BTG app from Ledger(device) and from Chrome app,but before that try to reset Bitcoin Chrome App by going to :  tools > reset application data.

I also see that problem may be in fees, some say that using "max" option to send is work for them, but you should also try to play with fees and set them manually. As I see BTG have very low fees: https://bitinfocharts.com/comparison/bitcoin%20gold-transactionfees.html

I think you maybe should ask BTG support as they could help faster Smiley

I am have already tried to reinstall the BTG app on the ledger + reset application data with no luck.
I am now trying to reinstall the bitcoin chrome app but i just cant find it in the uninstall program feature in windows. I see my other wallet apps there but not the bitcoin app.

When i search for ledger wallets i see my other wallets, large 200+ mb files but nothing like that for the bitcoin wallet, just shortcuts etc.

Something is messed up. I am on vacation right now so i cant use another computer then my laptop.

The bitcoin wallet app by ledger is a chrome app and therefore can only be installed/uninstalled via chrome.
You have to open chrome and type chrome://apps into the URL bar. You will be able to open/uninstall the app from there.

Are all of your applications (ledger manager, bitcoin chrome app, nano s firmware) all up to date?

Ledger manager should be >= 1.0.3
Bitcoin chrome app should be >= 1.9.13
Nano s firmware should be >= 1.3.1

Thanks.

I now have the latest version of the Bitcoin chrome app. The problem is still there.
I get the same error message.

All other stuff are up to date.

I am getting frustrated :/

After i have tried pretty much everything in the book like ten times i finally found a solution.

Choose to enter the transaction fee manually and like double it and it will work.

I've been suggesting that in my post, but obviously you have missed it.It is good that you finally solved the problem,it will be good info for others who meet the same problem.Ledger Nano S is good device, but their apps in Chrome are not the best solution for transactions.

I ran into the same problem, selected custom transaction fees and then entered 20 satoshis per byte as transaction fee (which appears to be the double of the high transaction fee), then the transaction completed successfully
