I am new to mining so please forgive my ignorance. I started out by connecting a single Antminer S9 to Kano pool for a few days and earned about 0.0057 BTC. According to Kano's site, that should be more than enough to reach his payment threshold, and a couple of days later, I could see a small balance on my Coinspace account... so it seemed like it's all good.
BUT then, a few more days later, and my coinspace account shows zero balance and zero history.
I went to blockchain.info and typed in my wallet address and it shows no history as well.
Kano's site doesn't have any obvious way to message him, so how am I supposed to tell where the bitcoins went?
I'd like to understand this before I spend much more money or effort mining a bunch more coins.

You check your address you entered into your
https://kano.is/ account, at a reputable blockchain site - the bitcoin blockchain can't lie - but of course someone can show you false information
e.g. on Blocktrail it will show any payouts:
https://www.blocktrail.com/BTCand type in your payout address
