ripple is one rare altcoin with nice background, well recognized by 5-6 banks......awaits for adoption by Japanese banks. This coin should reach 7-9$ price value but personally I will sell it around 5$ and will be highly satisfied. Many people forget that XRP is centralized (80% of it in control of mentioned banks) so consider it super risky investment. If the deal with banks fail this coin will go to zero level.

Can you show me a *single* transaction where a bank used XRP? It doesn't exist. No bank has ever used XRP, and all the hype about promises has caused this bubble, which is imploding.

Hodling on to ripple as this is a profit taking move by the whales holding massive amounts of coins.

 I see it bounce back and go to a higher value as more buying continues.

Bought at less than a dollar will stay in for the long run!

if we take and analyze the current rise in prices for each coin, I think that this has certain reasons and it can be called that this is in fact a huge bubble that will burst very quickly. Bitcoin, for example, flew up to 20,000 dollars and could not resist, because today a very fast flight disappears. But if you take the etherium, then I think that I need it. I think it depends on what price you got in. I got in at under $0.20, so I feel relaxed even when the price goes down.
But I really think it will go up again. If banks use it or not is not the question, but Ripple is very well known by now and a couple of good news could drive it up again pretty quickly. Also, right now all coins are facing a correction.

I completely agree! Ripple is such a strong coin that it will not take a month as it flies up. A couple of news will be released and all

currently, the popularity of Ripple is decreasing, more talks about the fact that this is not a very promising coin more. I don't know why it happens, why it fell sharply the demand, but investing in this asset becomes more risky, but you do have to make your own decision, analyze all the facts.

The correction has possibly already happened, I'm not convinced that it's finished myself and it could correct further. I don't think that it will recover to the previous ATH anytime soon and if it falls it can fall quite dramatically.

I think selling ripple now is just mindless if you bought at top of it. Anyways people who bought ripple back in 6 months ago may safely dump their coins as they already made tons of money.

Oh how wrong some were and how greedy they were. Ripple sparked up and then fell to its place. Shame really that people are not satisfied with 10x gains and want more. I hope you did sell when you said you did.

Ripple started to drop since Coinbase declared not to add any crypto's anymore.

Sell? Now? That's a bad idea imo. The coin is at the bottom and now you need to buy, not sell. I bought a ripple yesterday at a low price for a middle term.

You sell what you have now, you will not gain anything. I do not recommend you to sell when there is a downward trend.

It is possible, most of the Sr. Members here don't think that ripple has future. I also believe on that, the sudden spike of its price was just because of a price manipulation, ripple is not good for a long-term investment.
