Coinbase will add XRP (Ripple) in Jan?

Anybody knows about this news?

They will not add ripple or any cryptocurreny for now. that is what they said on their blog post here https://blog.coinbase.com/our-process-for-adding-new-assets-f97b7ba65bea and all those news about coinbase adding new cryptocurrency are all just rumors and not announced by their company but it might happen if ripple continues to grow.

I listened to the news but negatively. I listened that Coinbase is going to withdraw Ripple from its wallet. But, I can't understand that when Coinbase adds the Ripple to its platform that it took the decision now to withdraw. I am already using Coinbase since 2013.
