Speculation about Bitcoin's status on 2018

Let's say, there's alot of wild guesses and predictions about what Bitcoin would be in the year 2018, as 2017 held the grasp of Bitcoin as it gained more attention as the years go by, Will Bitcoin be consistent or will Bitcoin fall? What's your opinion?

you can never predict bitcoin in the long term. all you can say is that in the long term it will be rising and be worth more than today. and that is because how the adoption process works. it is slow and will require longer time.

but you can predict it in the short term for example as the CME news came out it was an obvious push to the adoption so a rise was assured.
for 2018 we have Lightning Network coming and a lot of other similar news to CME and each of these can help with the adoption and further rise.

My personal expectation is that in 2018 bitcoin will remain consistent and if it allows bitcoin will continue to prevail. I never thought if the bitcoin will fall or disappear.

Some countries maybe do tight monitoring to bitcoin transaction. Financial regulator will make the regulation about bitcoin. I think bitcoin must supported with legal regulation and good system. The rule will make people feel safe when investing in bitcoin or do bitcoin transactions

Before the last Bitcoin fall I have heard about its price growth in 2018 to the 40000USD. Today it looks likes unbelievable thing. Some experts think that average price within a year of Bitcoin will be about 20000USD.
