Why is it that when BTC price rises, all alts begin to have a bloodbath?

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

That's exactly how the market works. When Bitcoin gets on the front foot, it is almost always a bloodbath for almost all altcoins. Basically people swap altcoins to Bitcoins which causes more demands for it while the altcoin demand is lower and this naturally leads to a dip in its price.

I have been waiting for the pump of btc because dominance of bitcoin has seen the all time low. Bitcoins pump is even late as the time is long pump could be too long in my opinion.Bitcoin is the king it is not that easy to another coin to be the new bitcoin

Crypto market is like that. Up and down, round and round.  Grin
But seriously, crypto trading is just a rollercoaster ride.
The change in price is very fast and sometimes if you just missed few moments, the price is already different.
You can't catch up your breath when you are really observing the market second by second.

Its simple. Atlcoins traders or investors are dumping their coins, causing it to dip a little and then moving their funds to bitcoin making the price of it going further. They have this thing called mutual exclusive. Its been practice by most of traders and its normal procedure so say the least. But there was times that both of the market flourish, which means that there are really new investors entering the picture. As of today, bitcoin price is above $16,000. I can't remember when was the last time we have seen it recovered in this price. Its a good sign that we have seen some great movement in bitcoin price. Japan and South Korea is again leading the way. And the price is even premium in South Korea, above $5000 with the current Western trading exchanges counterpart. Ripple is down hard with 15%, hah, just what I thought, its only short term and the so called "Rippening" didn't materialized. Sorry, bitcoin proves he is still the King. So brace yourself, we may see another bull run in he making here folks.

bitcoin is rising recently and not all altcoins are dipping, there are altcoins are rising also because bitcoin is being pumped and dumped fluctuatively, therefore their are many changes on cryptos value, but bitcoin is still rising slowly days by days, so not thing to worry about bitcoin.

the market work like this most of time. because most of them compare with bitcoin in the market.
the bloodbath will not happen if you look the market in fiat pair. so some strong altcoin will still remain going up.
