It is not safe to hold money in DOGE coin, but it is useful for transfer money. Pretty fast transactions.

Dogecoin value is pumping day by day, check the market. i think it will be worth it if you continue to hold it for a long time. I dont know if its because of the coincidence of the year of the day, the reason why it pump so hard? lol

Yeap, definitely think its not worth holding onto. The development of the coin is essentially dead. However, it has seen a few rises in the past weeks. I would unload them when one of these pumps take place once again.

but if you are long term investor, just get away from it

Dogecoin is moving around a stable price of 85 satoshis. It was nearly 20 satoshis a few weeks back and has gained more momentum since then.
It has been happening this way with DOGE for many years now. Doge will first dump to 20 satoshis and then stay at that price for a few months.
Then all of a sudden it would gain increase in price and cross 90 satoshis. Staying at that price for a few months it would start dropping again.
So the gain has happened and it is time for it to depreciate. You should wait a few months and then try buying it back at 15-20 satoshis. Until then you should probably stay away form this coin as it is just a pump and dump coin.

Hell yes I'd hold onto doge.  In terms of fiat, I think it's at its ATH isn't it?  I've definitely never seen 1 DOGE = $0.01 before, and I think it's even higher than that now, too.  That's friggin' crazy to me.  Even with the built-in inflation, there's not too many doge being produced for it to appreciate in value. 

Time will tell.

Both is the same, deeponion with so many pre-mined tokens for developers and doge with unlimited supply and remember also developer retired from developing the dogecoin.

Both were the worst coin, in my opinion, you should forget it either. I hope you will take very good decision about that. it looks you do not understand about both of coins.

Doge = widely accepted even on the crappiest exchanges. As much as everyone claims to have low  fees and fast conf times.. doge is the boss for them at this point

I think it is better to hold DeepOnion than that of Dogecoin. Really don’t think there is a lot of hope for Dogecoin because this coin has slow movement. But you can actually invest in both coins if you really want to. But just don’t expect too much from Dogecoin.

2018 is clearly a bull market, so hold what tokens can make money and only you have the patience to hold it.
