Yes there are many altcoins that share profit with the token holders but most of them py quarterly and not monthly, some of them include taas, astro, sift, tria, ctx, bankera, coss and kcs to name a few, do your own research before investing, im not recommending you to invest, study them and take your own decision.

Of course there are!! In fact there are many altcoins that have daily returns if you prefer. Just to mention a few:

NEO - If you stake a minimun of 15 you can claim GAS. I will leave you to research how and how much.
WAVES - You can lease waves to a staking node and get some fees in the form of different waves tokens. I do it just for fun.

NEM, but you´ll need to invest a large sum to get a node, and also DASH but the investment is huge.

An the best for last: Astronaut (ASTRO) is a fund that is flying under the radar but doing great. Quarterly dividends.

There are coins that can yield you monthly returns. Look into coins that you can made a masternode off of ie Dash, PIVX, NEM, etc. Also look for coins where you can stake. Here you can generate more coins if you have a good amount in your wallet which would earn you more money.

There might be, for sure. Personally, I'm HODL type of person, it can be very profitable. Just take a look at the prices from the 2016, where ETH was at 9 USD, btc under 1000 USD, just to name few. And where they are now? People tend not to be patient - holding might be the key. Of course you should not put everything in one ALT coin, split it between some good projects and in a year/2/3 you will see the results (hopefully).

Yes, staking is a good way of "earning". As long as you have enough coins, you can use VPS and stake even faster. With a lot of coins you will be easily able to cover VPS fees and even earn good profit.

Buying a Dash node is just out of the possibilities of most people IMO. The ones that got one are earning very nice returns, and that is one of the reasons why I don´t hold Dash. I am not willing to pay a huge amount for the security of a net that is not that decentralised.
